فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
Il jouira d'une vie agréable
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
So he will enjoy a pleasant living
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
dans un Jardin haut placé
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
in a lofty Garden
قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٞ
dont les fruits sont à portée de la main
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
whose clusters whose fruits are in easy reach nearby reached easily by one who may be standing or sitting or reclining.
كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَيَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِيَةِ
«Mangez et buvez agréablement pour ce que vous avez avancé dans les jours passés»
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
And so it will be said to them ‘Eat and drink in enjoyment hanī’an is a circumstantial qualifier that is to say mutahanni’īna ‘while you are enjoying them’ for what you did in advance in former days’ in days that have passed during the life of the world.
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ
Quant à celui à qui on aura remis le Livre en sa main gauche, il dira: «Hélas pour moi! J'aurai souhaité qu'on ne m'ait pas remis mon livre
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
But as for him who is given his book in his left hand he will say ‘O yā is for calling attention to something would that I had not been given my book
