هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
T'est-il parvenu le récit de l'enveloppante
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
Has there — there has indeed — come to you the tiding of the Enveloper? the Resurrection so called because it ‘envelops’ creatures with its terrors.
وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages humiliés
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
Some faces on that day — they faces are used to represent the individuals in both instances — will be humbled abject
عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
préoccupés, harassés
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
toiling weary tired and exhausted from the chains and fetters
تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
Ils brûleront dans un Feu ardent
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
roasting read taslā or tuslā in a scorching fire
تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
et seront abreuvés d'une source bouillante
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
made to drink from a boiling spring one of extremely hot temperatures.
