يُصۡلِحۡ لَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدۡ فَازَ فَوۡزًا عَظِيمًا
afin qu'Il améliore vos actions et vous pardonne vos péchés. Quiconque obéit à Allah et à Son messager obtient certes une grande réussite
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
He will rectify your deeds for you He will accept them and will forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys God and His Messenger has verily achieved a great success he has attained his ultimate goal.
إِنَّا عَرَضۡنَا ٱلۡأَمَانَةَ عَلَى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱلۡجِبَالِ فَأَبَيۡنَ أَن يَحۡمِلۡنَهَا وَأَشۡفَقۡنَ مِنۡهَا وَحَمَلَهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ ظَلُومٗا جَهُولٗا
Nous avions proposé aux cieux, à la terre et aux montagnes la responsabilité (de porter les charges de faire le bien et d'éviter le mal). Ils ont refusé de la porter et en ont eu peur, alors que l'homme s'en est chargé; car il est très injuste [envers lui-même] et très ignorant
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
Indeed We offered the Trust — the obligation to prayer and other matters which when performed result in reward and when neglected result in punishment — to the heavens and the earth and the mountains and created in them the power of comprehension and speech at the time of that offer but they refused to bear it and were apprehensive of it; but man Adam undertook it when it was offered to him. Truly he is a wrongdoer to his own soul because of what he undertook ignorant of the responsibility that comes with it —
لِّيُعَذِّبَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكَٰتِ وَيَتُوبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمَۢا
[Il en est ainsi] afin qu'Allah châtie les hypocrites, hommes et femmes, et les associateurs et les associatrices et Allah accueille le repentir des croyants et des croyantes. Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux
Al-Jalalayn — Al-Jalalayn
so that God may chastise li-yu‘adhdhiba the lām therein is semantically connected to ‘aradnā ‘We offered’ which resulted in ‘Adam’s undertaking’ the hypocrites men and women and the idolaters men and women those who forsake the Trust and that God may relent to the believing men and believing women who fulfil the Trust. And God is Forgiving to believers Merciful to them.
