26S05V26

قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡۛ أَرۡبَعِينَ سَنَةٗۛ يَتِيهُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَلَا تَأۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

Il (Allah) dit: «Eh bien, ce pays leur sera interdit pendant quarante ans, durant lesquels ils erreront sur la terre. Ne te tourmente donc pas pour ce peuple pervers»

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

((Their Lord) said) to Moses: (For this the land will surely be forbidden them) i.e. to enter it, after you called them wrong-doing folk (for forty years that they will wander in the earth, bewildered) they will be bewildered in the wilderness, confined in an area of seven parasangs, unable to get out of it or be guided to the right way. (So grieve not over) do not be saddened about (the wrong-doing folk).

27S05V27

۞وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ ٱبۡنَيۡ ءَادَمَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ إِذۡ قَرَّبَا قُرۡبَانٗا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنۡ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمۡ يُتَقَبَّلۡ مِنَ ٱلۡأٓخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقۡتُلَنَّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

Et raconte-leur en toute vérité l'histoire des deux fils d'Adam. Les deux offrirent des sacrifices; celui de l'un fut accepté et celui de l'autre ne le fut pas. Celui-ci dit: «Je te tuerai sûrement». «Allah n'accepte, dit l'autre, que de la part des pieux»

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(But recite unto them) O Muhammad (with truth) with the Qur'an (the tale of the two sons of Adam, how they offered each a sacrifice, and it was accepted from the one) Abel (of them and it was not accepted from the other) Cain. ((The one)) Cain (said) to Abel: (I will surely kill thee) O Abel. ((The other) answered) why? Because Allah has accepted your offering and rejected mine. And Abel said: (Allah accepteth only from those who ward off (evil)) the sincere in their speech and action, whose hearts are pure, and your heart is not pure.

28S05V28

لَئِنۢ بَسَطتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقۡتُلَنِي مَآ أَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٖ يَدِيَ إِلَيۡكَ لِأَقۡتُلَكَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Si tu étends vers moi ta main pour me tuer, moi, je n'étendrai pas vers toi ma main pour te tuer: car je crains Allah, le Seigneur de l'Univers

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(Even if thou stretch out thy hand against me to kill me) wrongfully, (I shall not stretch out my hand against thee to kill you) wrongfully, (lo! I fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds) if I were to kill you wrongfully.

29S05V29

إِنِّيٓ أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوٓأَ بِإِثۡمِي وَإِثۡمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Je veux que tu partes avec le péché de m'avoir tué et avec ton propre péché: alors tu seras du nombre des gens du Feu. Telle est la récompense des injustes

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(Lo! I would rather thou shouldst bear the punishment of the sin against me and thine own sin) of shedding my blood (and become one of the owners of the Fire) of the dwellers of hell. (That is the reward of evil-doers) Hell is the reward of those who wrongfully transgress.

30S05V30

فَطَوَّعَتۡ لَهُۥ نَفۡسُهُۥ قَتۡلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصۡبَحَ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

Son âme l'incita à tuer son frère. Il le tua donc et devint ainsi du nombre des perdants

(But (the other's) mind imposed on him) his ego permitted him (the killing of his brother, so he slew him and became one of the losers) who deserved punishment.
