أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ
ou un pauvre dans le dénuement
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
Or some poor wretch in misery) and who has nothing,
ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ
Et c'est être, en outre, de ceux qui croient et s'enjoignent mutuellement l'endurance, et s'enjoignent mutuellement la miséricorde
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And to be) in addition to this (of those who believe) in private between themselves and their Lord, in Muhammad (pbuh) and the Qur'an (and exhort one another to perseverance) in fulfilling the obligations (and export one another to pity) towards the poor and needy.
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
Ceux-là sont les gens de la droite
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Their place will be on the right hand) those who are given their register in their right hands are the inhabitants of the Garden.
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
alors que ceux qui ne croient pas en Nos versets sont les gens de la gauche
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(But those who disbelieve Our revelations) in Muhammad (pbuh) and the Qur'an, i.e. Kildah and his host, (their place will be on the left hand) those who are given their register in their left hand are the inhabitants of the Fire.
عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ
Le Feu se refermera sur eux
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Fire will be an awning over them) the Fire will fall on them'.
