Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
الفجر
Al-Fajr
30 versets
وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
Mais par contre, quand Il l'éprouve en lui restreignant sa subsistance, il dit: «Mon Seigneur m'a avili»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(But whenever He trieth him) whenever He tests him with poverty (by straitening his means of life) by tightening his means of living, (he saith: My Lord despiseth me) by giving me poverty and tightening my means of living.
كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
Mais non! C'est vous plutôt, qui n'êtes pas généreux envers les orphelins
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Nay) this is a reply to them: No, but the honour I bestow is due to My acknowledgment of some My servants and the success I give to them, while My despising is because I turn away from some servants and completely forsake them, (but ye (for your part) honour not the orphan) you do not acknowledge the right of the orphan when he is under your care.
وَلَا تَحَـٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
qui ne vous incitez pas mutuellement à nourrir le pauvre
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And urge not) yourselves or others (on the feeding of the poor) giving alms to the poor,
وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلٗا لَّمّٗا
qui dévorez l'héritage avec une avidité vorace
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And ye devour heritages) inheritances (with devouring greed
وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡمَالَ حُبّٗا جَمّٗا
et aimez les richesses d'un amour sans bornes
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
And love wealth with abounding love.
