إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلٖ وَعُيُونٖ
Les pieux seront parmi des ombrages et des sources
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
Allah then explained the abode of the believers, saying: (Lo! those who kept their duty) those who ward off disbelief, idolatry and indecencies (are amid shade) amid the shade of trees (and fountains) plain, running water,
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ
De même que des fruits selon leurs désirs
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And fruits) different kinds of fruit (such as they desire).
كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
«Mangez et buvez agréablement, pour ce que vous faisiez»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
Allah will say to them (Eat) of the fruits, (drink) from the rivers (and welcome) fearing no sickness or death, (O ye blessed, in return for what ye did) and said of good in the life of the world.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
C'est ainsi que Nous récompensons les bienfaisants
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Thus do We reward the good) in words and deeds.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
Malheur, ce jour-là, à ceux qui criaient au mensonge
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Woe) severe punishment (unto the repudiators) of faith and the resurrection (on that day) the Day of Judgement!
