قُلۡ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٞ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡعَٰبِدِينَ
Dis: «Si le Tout Miséricordieux avait un enfant, alors je serais le premier à l'adorer»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Say) O Muhammad to al-Nadr Ibn al-Harith and 'Alqamah: (The Beneficent One hath no son. I am first among the worshippers) I am the first to acknowledge that Allah has no son or partner.
سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Gloire au Seigneur des cieux et de la terre, Seigneur du Trône; Il transcende ce qu'ils décrivent

(Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto Him)) of sons and partners!
فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
Laisse-les donc s'enfoncer dans leur fausseté et s'amuser jusqu'à ce qu'ils rencontrent le jour qui leur est promis
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(So let them) O Muhammad (flounder (in their talk)) of falsehood (and play) and mock the Qur'an (until they meet) until they see (the Day which they are promised) death and punishment.
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَٰهٞ وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَٰهٞۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
C'est Lui qui est Dieu dans le ciel et Dieu sur terre; et c'est Lui le Sage, l'Omniscient
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And He it is Who in the heaven is God) He is the God of everything that is in the heaven, (and in the earth God) and He is the God of everything that is in the earth. (He is the Wise) in His command and decree, (the Knower) of His created beings and providence.
وَتَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
Et béni soit Celui à qui appartient la souveraineté des cieux et de la terre et de ce qui est entre eux. Il détient la science de l'Heure. Et c'est vers Lui que vous serez ramenés
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And blessed be He unto Whom) He is too exalted and exonerated from having sons and partners He unto Whom (belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them) of created beings, (and with Whom is knowledge of the Hour) the knowledge of the coming of the Hour, (and unto Whom ye will be returned) in the Hereafter.
