يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
On fera circuler parmi eux des plats d'or et des coupes; et il y aura là [pour eux] tout ce que les âmes désirent et ce qui réjouit les yeux;» - et vous y demeurerez éternellement
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Therein are brought round for them) to serve them (trays of gold) filled with different types of food (and goblets) round goblets without handles, filled with drinks, (and therein) i.e. in Paradise (is all that souls desire and eyes find sweet) to look at. (And you are immortal therein) you will abide in Paradise forever, never to die or leave.
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Tel est le Paradis qu'on vous fait hériter pour ce que vous faisiez
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(This is the Garden which ye are made to inherit) this is Paradise in which you are made to dwell, you inherited it (because of what ye used to do) and say in the life of the world.
لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
Il y aura là pour vous beaucoup de fruits dont vous mangerez»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Therein) in the Garden (for you is fruit) different kinds of fruit (in plenty whence to eat.
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ
Quant aux criminels, ils demeureront éternellement dans le châtiment de l'Enfer

Lo! the guilty) the idolaters: Abu Jahl and his host (are immortal in hell's torment) neither to die or leave it.
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَهُمۡ فِيهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ
qui ne sera jamais interrompu pour eux et où ils seront en désespoir

(It is not relaxed for them) the torment is not removed from them nor is it interrupted, (and they despair therein) they despair in this torment about any goodness or about it being removed.
