61S36V61

وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِيۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ

et [ne vous ai-Je pas engagés] à M'adorer? Voilà un chemin bien droit

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(But that ye worship Me) but that you should believe in My divine Oneness? (That) the profession of Allah's divine Oneness (was the right path) a straight, true religion.

62S36V62

وَلَقَدۡ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمۡ جِبِلّٗا كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡقِلُونَ

Et il a très certainement égaré un grand nombre d'entre vous. Ne raisonniez-vous donc pas

(Yet he) the devil (hath led astray of you) O children of Adam (a great multitude) of people before you. (Had ye then no sense) did you not know what he did to them, and hence avoid following their path?

63S36V63

هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ

Voici l'Enfer qu'on vous promettait

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(This is hell which you were promised) in the life of the world.

64S36V64

ٱصۡلَوۡهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ

Brûlez-y aujourd'hui, pour avoir mécru»

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(Burn therein this day for that you disbelieved) in it and also because of your denial of the Scriptures and the messengers.

65S36V65

ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

Ce jour-là, Nous scellerons leurs bouches, tandis que leurs mains Nous parleront et que leurs jambes témoigneront de ce qu'ils avaient accompli

(This day) which is the Day of Judgement (We seal up mouths) We prevent them from talking because of their denial, (and hands speak out) revealing what they had struck (and feet bear witness) testify about where they went and their limbs testify (as to what they used to earn) of evil.
