فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Ils y trouveront [les houris] aux regards chastes, qu'avant eux aucun homme ou djinn n'aura déflorées
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Therein are those of modest gaze) modest maiden who are content with their husbands and who do not look at other than their own husbands, (whom neither man nor jinn will have touched before them) before their husbands,
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
Elles seront [aussi belles] que le rubis et le corail
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral stone.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?
هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ
Y a-t-il d'autre récompense pour le bien, que le bien
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness?) He says: is the reward of he whom We have blessed with the profession of Allah's divine Oneness anything but the Garden?
