51S03V51

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ

Allah est mon Seigneur et votre Seigneur. Adorez-Le donc: voilà le chemin droit.»

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘AbbâsTanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

(Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him) declare his divine Oneness. (That) divine Oneness (is a straight path) an established religion, Islam, which He is pleased with.

52S03V52

۞فَلَمَّآ أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ قَالَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّا مُسۡلِمُونَ

Puis, quand Jésus ressentit de l'incrédulité, de leur part, il dit: «Qui sont mes alliés dans la voie d'Allah?» Les apôtres dirent: «Nous sommes les alliés d'Allah. Nous croyons en Allah. Et sois témoin que nous lui sommes soumis

(But when Jesus became conscious) when he knew (of their disbelief) and saw that they wanted to kill him; it is also said: when he repeatedly heard their disbelief, (he) Jesus (cried: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah?) against His enemies. (The disciples) his closest disciples who were 12 in number (said: We will be Allah's helpers) against his enemies. (We believe in Allah, and bear thou witness) Know, O Jesus (that we have surrendered (unto Him)) we acknowledge Allah by worshipping Him and declaring His divine Oneness.

53S03V53

رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا بِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ وَٱتَّبَعۡنَا ٱلرَّسُولَ فَٱكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

Seigneur! Nous avons cru à ce que Tu as fait descendre et suivi le messager. Inscris-nous donc parmi ceux qui témoignent»

(Our Lord) O our Lord! (We believe in that which Thou hast revealed) of the Scripture, i.e. the Gospel (and we follow him whom Thou hast sent) the religion of the Messenger Jesus. (Enrol us among those who witness) make us among the first forerunners who were witnesses before us; it is also said this means: make us of the community of Muhammad (pbuh).

54S03V54

وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمَٰكِرِينَ

Et ils [les autres] se mirent à comploter. Allah a fait échouer leur complot. Et c'est Allah qui sait le mieux leur machination

(And they schemed) they, i.e. the Jews, planned to kill Jesus, (and Allah schemed (against them)) Allah wished to kill their man Tatianos: (and Allah is the best of schemers) the strongest of those who have a will; it is also said this means: the best of Makers.

55S03V55

إِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡ فِيمَا كُنتُمۡ فِيهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ

(Rappelle-toi) quand Allah dit: «O Jésus, certes, Je vais mettre fin à ta vie terrestre t'élever vers Moi, te débarrasser de ceux qui n'ont pas cru et mettre jusqu'au Jour de la Résurrection, ceux qui te suivent au-dessus de ceux qui ne croient pas. Puis, c'est vers Moi que sera votre retour, et Je jugerai, entre vous, ce sur quoi vous vous opposiez

((And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing) saving (thee of those who disbelieve) in you (and am setting those who follow you) follow your Religion (above those who disbelieve) with strong argument and triumph (until the Day of Resurrection) then I shall make you to die after descent; it is also said this means: I shall make your heart die to the love of the life of this world. (Then unto Me ye will (all) return) after death, (and I shall judge between you as to that wherein) in religion (ye used to differ) to argue.
