إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ
jusqu'au jour de l'Instant bien Connu»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Until the day of the time appointed) until the first blow of the Trumpet.
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
«Par Ta puissance! dit [Satan]. Je les séduirai assurément tous
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(He said: Then, by Thy might) and favour, (I surely will beguile them every one) I will mislead all of them from Your religion and obedience,
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
sauf Tes serviteurs élus parmi eux»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Save Thy single minded slaves) save those slaves who are protected from me (among them) among the children of Adam.
قَالَ فَٱلۡحَقُّ وَٱلۡحَقَّ أَقُولُ
(Allah) dit: «En vérité, et c'est la vérité que je dis
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(He said) Allah said to him: (The Truth is) I am the Truth, (and the Truth I speak,
لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
J'emplirai certainement l'Enfer de toi et de tous ceux d'entre eux qui te suivront»
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
That I shall fill hell with thee) and with your offspring (and with such of them as follow thee) of the Children of Adam, (together) all those who obey your way.
