فَإِنۡ عَصَوۡكَ فَقُلۡ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ
Mais s'ils te désobéissent, dis-leur: «Moi, je désavoue ce que vous faites»

(And if they) the Quraysh (disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do) and say.
وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Et place ta confiance dans le Tout Puissant, le Très Miséricordieux
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And put thy trust in the Mighty) in His retribution against His enemies, (the Merciful) towards you and all believers.
ٱلَّذِي يَرَىٰكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
qui te voit quand tu te lèves
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Who seeth thee when thou standest up) in prayer,
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
et (voit) tes gestes parmi ceux qui se prosternent
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship)) among those who pray in their bowing, prostration and standing up; it is also said that this means: in the loins of your forefathers.
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
C'est Lui vraiment, l'Audient, l'Omniscient
Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs — Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer) of what they say, (the Knower) of them and of their works.
