Anas ibn Malik said
قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُكْثِرُ الْقِنَاعَ، كَأَنَّ ثَوْبَهُ ثَوْبُ زَيَّاتٍ.
“Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) would often wear the head veil, as if his robe was the robe of an oil dealer.”
