Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: لعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم المخنثين من الرجال، والمترجلات من النساء. وفي رواية: لعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم المتشبهين من الرجال بالنساء، والمتشبهات من النساء بالرجال. ((رواه البخاري)).

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: لعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الرجل يلبس لبسة المرأة، والمرأة تلبس لبسة الرجل. ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed a man who puts on the dress of women, and a woman who puts on the dress of men..
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "صِنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما: قوم معهم سياط كأذناب البقر يضربون بها الناس، ونساء كاسيات عاريات مميلات مائلات، رءوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة لا يدخلن الجنة، ولا يجدن ريحها، وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة كذا وكذا" ((رواه مسلم)). معنى ((كاسيات)) اي من نعمة الله ((عاريات)) من شكرها ، وقيل معناه: تستر بعض بدنها ، وتكشف بعضه إظهارا بحالها ونحوه ، وقيل : معناه تلبس ثوبا رقيقا يصف لون بدنها . وأما ( مائلات ) فقيل : معناه عن طاعة الله ، وما يلزمهن حفظه . ( مميلات ) أي يعلمن غيرهن فعلهن المذموم ، وقيل : مائلات يمشين متبخترات ، مميلات لأكتافهن . وقيل : مائلات يمشطن المشطة المائلة ، وهي مشطة البغايا . مميلات يمشطن غيرهن تلك المشطة . ومعنى ( رءوسهن كأسنمة البخت ) أن يكبرنها ويعظمنها بلف عمامة أو عصابة أو نحوهما .
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are two types of people who will be punished in Hell and whom I have not seen: men having whips like the tails of cows and they will be beating people with them, and, women who will be dressed but appear to be naked, inviting to evil; and they themselves will be inclined to it. Their heads will appear like the humps of the Bactrian camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Jannah and they will not smell its fragrance which is perceptible from such and such a distance.".
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "لا تأكلوا بالشمال، فإن الشيطان يأكل ويشرب بشماله" ((رواه مسلم)).
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: "Do not eat with your left hand, because Satan eats and drinks with his left hand.".
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله قال: "لا يأكلن أحدكم بشماله، ولا يشربن بها. فإن الشيطان يأكل بشماله ويشرب بها" ((رواه مسلم)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "No person should eat and drink with his left hand for Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.".
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إن اليهود والنصارى لا يصبغون، فخالفوهم" ((متفق عليه)) . المُرَادُ: خِضَابُ شَعْرِ اللِّحْيةِ والرَّأسِ الأبْيضِ بِصُفْرةٍ أوْ حُمْرةٍ، وأمَّا السَّوادُ، فَمنْهيُّ عَنْهُ كَما سَنَذْكُرُ في الْباب بعْدَهُ، إنْ شَاءَ اللَّه تَعَالَى.
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: "Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so act differently from them.".
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: أتي بأبي قحافة والد أبي بكر الصديق رضي الله عنهما يوم فتح مكة ورأسه ولحيته كالثغامة بياضًا، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "غيروا هذا واجتنبوا السواد" ((رواه مسلم)).
Abu Quhafah, father of Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with them) was presented to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the day of the conquest of Makkah and his head and beard were snow white. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Change it (i.e., dye it and avoid black colour).".
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن القزع. ((متفق عليه)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade shaving a part of the head..
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعنه قال: رأى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صبيًا قد حلق بعض شعر رأسه وترك بعضه فنهاهم عن ذلك وقال: "احلقوه كله، أو اتركوه كله". رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح على شرط البخاري ومسلم.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a boy, some portion of whose head was shaved and some of it was left out. He prohibited them from that and said, "Shave the whole of it or leave the whole of it.".
'Abdullah bin Ja'far (May Allah be pleased with them) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن عبد الله بن جعفر رضي الله عنهما أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أمهل آل جعفر رضي الله عنه ثلاثًا، ثم أتاهم فقال: "لا تبكوا على أخي بعد اليوم". ثم قال: "ادعوا لي بني أخي" فجيء بنا كأننا أفرخ فقال: "ادعوا لي الحلاق" فأمره، فحلق رءوسنا". رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح على شرط البخاري ومسلم.
The Prophet (ﷺ) gave respite for three days to the family of Ja'far (after his martydom). Then he came and said, "Don't weep for my brother after this day." He said, "Bring all of my nephews to me." We were accordingly brought as if we were chickens. Then he said, "Call for me a barber." He directed him to shave our heads which he did..
'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن علي قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن تحلق المرأة رأسها. ((رواه النسائي)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited a woman from shaving her head..
Asma' (May Allah be pleased with her) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعَنْ أسْمَاءَ رَضِيَ اللَّه عنْهَا: أنَّ امْرأَةً سألتِ النبيَّ ﷺ فَقَالتْ: يا رَسُولَ اللَّه، إنَّ ابْنَتِي أصَابَتْهَا الْحَصْبةُ، فتَمَرَّقَ شَعْرُهَا، وإنِّي زَوَّجْتُها، أفَأَصِلُ فِيهِ؟ فقالَ: لَعَنَ اللَّه الْواصِلةَ والْمَوصولة متفقٌ عليه. وفي روايةٍ: الواصِلَةَ والمُسْتوصِلَةَ. قَوْلَهَا:"فَتَمرَّقَ"هو بالرَّاءِ، ومعناهُ: انْتثر وَسَقَطَ،"والْوَاصِلة": التي تَصِلُ شَعْرهَا، أو شَعْر غَيْرِهَا بشَعْرٍ آخَرَ."والمَوْصُولة": التي يُوصَلُ شَعْرُهَا. "والمُستَوصِلَةُ": التي تَسْأَلُ منْ يَفْعَلُ ذلكَ لَهَا.
A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have a daughter who had an attack of small pox and her hair fell off. Now I want to celebrate her marriage. Can I get her a wig?" Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah has cursed the maker and wearer of a wig.".
وعَنْ عائشة رضي اللَّه عنْهَا نَحْوُهُ، متفقٌ عليه.
A similar narration was narrated on the authority of 'Aishah.
Humaid bin 'Abdur-Rahman (May Allah be pleased wth him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinقَالَ: يَا أهْل المَدِينَةِ أيْنَ عُلَمَاؤكُمْ؟، سمِعْتُ النبيَّ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم يَنْهَى عنْ مِثْلِ هَذِهِ ويقُولُ: "إنًَّمَا هَلَكَتْ بنُو إسْرَائِيل حِينَ اتخذ هذه نِسَاؤُهُمْ" متفقٌ عليه.
I saw Mu'awiyah (May Allah be pleased with him) during the Hajj (pilgrimage) standing on the pulpit. He took from the guard a bunch of hair, and said: "O people of Al-Madinah! Where are your scholars? (Why do they do not prohibit you) I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) prohibiting from using this (false hair) and saying, 'The people of Bani Israel were ruined when their women wore such hair."'
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لعن الواصلة والمستوصلة والواشمة والمستوشمة ((متفق عليه)).

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: لعن الله الواشمات والمستوشمات والمتنمصات والمتفلجات بالحسن، المغيرات خلق الله! فقالت له امرأة في ذلك فقال: وما لي لا ألعن من لعنه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو في كتاب الله؟! قال الله تعالى: {وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا} ((الحشر:7)).((متفق عليه)). المتفلجة هي: التي تبرد من أسنانها ليتباعد بعضها من بعض قليلا، وتحسنها وهو الوشر. والنامصة: التي تأخذ من شعر حاجب غيرها، وترققه ليصير حسنا. والمتنمصة: التي تأمر من يفعل بها ذلك.
Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing and those women who have themselves tattooed, and those women who get their hair removed from their eyebrows and faces (except the beard and the mustache), and those who make artificial spaces between their teeth for beauty, whereby they change Allah's creation. A woman started to argue with him, saying: "What is all this?" He replied: "Why should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed and who are cursed in Allah's Book? Allah, the Exalted, has said in His Book:"And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ)) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)." (59:7).
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "من عمل عملا ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد" ((رواه مسلم)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who does something contrary to our way (i.e., Islam) will have it rejected.".
Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinعن أبي قتادة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إذا بال أحدكم، فلا يؤخذن ذكره بيمينه، ولا يستنجي بيمينه، ولا يتنفس في الإناء" ((متفق عليه)) وفي الباب أحاديث كثيرة صحيحة.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not touch your private parts with your right hand while urinating, nor for washing or cleaning (your private parts); and do not breathe into the drinking vessel from which you drink.".
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "لا يمشي أحدكم في نعل واحدة لينعلهما جميعًا او ليخلعهما جميعًا". وفي رواية " أو ليحفهما جميعًا ((متفق عليه)).
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "None of you should walk wearing one shoe; you should either wear them both or take them off both.".
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said
dansRiyad as-Salihinوعنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "إذا انقطع شسع نعل أحدكم، فلا يمشِ في الأخرى حتى يصلحها" ((رواه مسلم)).
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "When the lace of one of the shoes of any one of you is cut off, he should not walk with the other until he has got the lace repaired.".
